This wine is produced from the best vineyards of the Barkan Winery in the Upper Galilee. The grapes on each plot were separately picked in small vessels after they were fully mature. The wine stayed in contact with the grape seeds for a period of 4 weeks, to extract the maximum taste of the grapes. The wine aged in new oak casks, mainly from French oak, for a period of 20 months. During the meticulous process of picking the best oak casks, the winemakers decided that by adding 10% Cabernet Sauvignon Galilee, a perfect wine would be created, giving it a profound complexity. The wine was bottled after minimum drainage and continued the aging process in the winerys basements.
